Actually nobody would ever be able to make out what the Research In Motion guys had in their mind while they were naming their one and only tablet - PlayBook. The name sounds a little more appropriate for something like a PSP killer device or some gaming centric gadget. Probably, the name indicates that this device adds a dimension of fun, hence the play, while doing serious business as well.
